ASCS-Northwest Ready To Kick Off Speedweek

Ben Deatherage - MEDFORD, Ore. (June 24, 2014) - Since 1998 Speedweek Northwest has been a time honored tradition offering race fans the best 360 Sprint Car racing in the Pacific Northwest at some of the best tracks in the country. In 2014 the American Sprint Car Series-Northwest Region will once again sanction Speedweek and will hold seven races in eight days starting with Sunday June 29th at Siskiyou Motor Speedway in Yreka, California.

Speedweek will continue after the visit to Northern California to the Southern Oregon Speedway, in White City, on Monday June 30th. On Tuesday July 1st Coos Bay Speedway will host the tour and then teams will trek to Willamette Speedway, in Lebanon, on Wednesday the 2nd. Thursday the 3rd will be a well-deserved day off before Speedweek will conclude at Cottage Grove Speedway on Friday July 4th and Saturday the 5th.

Teams from the states of Oregon, Washington, California, Idaho, Nevada, and Montana are expected to be on tap as well as the Canadian provinces of British Columbia and Alberta.
